Rachel Knight is a Florida based artist.

Hailing from the sun-kissed shores of Clearwater, Florida, Rachel Knight is an artist and surface pattern designer whose soul is deeply connected to nature. Growing up surrounded by Colorado’s majestic mountains and now living by the ocean shore, she finds inspiration in nature, featuring organic shapes, varied lines and textures that reflect its beauty.  

Rachel’s creative journey truly began with a ceramics class where she fell in love with creating. Additional classes expanded her skills to include watercolor, mixed media, printmaking, and calligraphy. After graduating from Walla Walla University in Washington State and moving to Florida, Rachel has balanced a career in finance by day while painting by night. Her passion for exploring different mediums continues to grow as her body of work expands. Rachel has showcased her work in nine art shows, gaining recognition for her unique blend of mixed media works.

Rachel's recent work often features mythical mermaids, depicted alongside a variety of sea creatures, reading to their hearts' content in the depths of the ocean. These themes reflect her deep connection to the sea and its enchanting lore.
